A semi-evergreen variety, they will flower from June right through until the first frosts. They have a compact habit and will be happiest in full sun so are perfect for a patio or balcony.

A favourite of the team here, Gaura make a pretty addition to any garden providing colour all summer long and well into the autumn. They are really coming in to their own this week with masses of buds and blooms but one of the lovely things about these plants is they just get better and better as the weeks go on. Gaura make great plants for the back of the border, where their tall flowers stems will flutter in the breeze making them look like a bit like whirling butterflies.
